- Fox Wiki
A Wiki is a special kind of site. Unlike a threaded classic-style
bulletin board, where each reply is part of a thread, a Wiki (Hawaiian
for "fast") is an editable document where you get to
add or edit the text. It is a wonderful information repository.
- Universal
Thread
One of the nicest threaded boards I've seen, and the biggest VFP
board around. The software is great (and it's written in Visual
FoxPro, using Web Connect). It has a very lively daily audience
and sections for Visual FoxPro, Visual Basic, SQL Server, ASP,
etc.
- VFUG
The biggest Visual FoxPro newsletter reaches more than 30,000
subscribers every month. It has a nice website, written in Visual
FoxPro using Active FoxPro Pages. This site has good libraries
of information.
- West-Wind
The creators of Web Connect, a web-related Framework for Visual
FoxPro. It contains excellent whitepapers from Rick Strahl on
technical issues ranging from XML and SOAP to building distributed
applications. It also supports Rick's other products like the
West Wind Help Builder. Check it out!
- Also, see my
review of Web Connect for CNET
(a little version-dated now but still valid overall).
- EPS-Software
Makers
of fine software-developer tools have recently launched the Voodoo
Web Controls .
These are a set of classes for building web applications. They
are very powerful and easy to use.
- David
Frankenbach's site
good collection of Visual FoxPro help and information.
- MSDN
Library
Microsoft premier site for information on Software Development.
It contains manuals, whitepapers, articles and samples for all
Microsoft languages and software.
- Hentzenwerke
Publisher of high quality books on software development geared
to the Visual FoxPro language.
